Unleash your creativity and design real-world products! The RHINOSHIELD X MIA Creative Jam is open to all MIA students—your chance to turn your artistic ideas into functional products that will be brought to life.

With the theme “Our Ocean, Our Planet,” explore 7 unique design directions and create a phone case that makes a lasting impact.

Submission deadline: 8th November, 2024
The stakes are high! The 1st prize winner will take home a MacBook Air, and there’s MYR 10,000 in scholarships for the 2nd to 6th place winners. Finalists will also gain access to an exclusive mentorship workshop and have their designs featured on RHINOSHIELD’s global platform with royalties.

All designs will be printed on RHINOSHIELD phone cases and showcased at GMBB from 30th November to 8th December 2024. Each participant will receive a certificate after the exhibition.

We are thrilled to announce the finalists and all awards for each category of the 2024 MIA Young Musician Competition. Congratulations to all participants for their incredible performances and dedication!
The finalists will compete in the final round on July 20, 2024, at 10:00 AM. Please note that the location has been changed from the MIA City Campus to the Kong Choi Exhibition Room, 1st Floor of the Kuala Lumpur and Selangor Chinese Assembly Hall (KLSCAH).
After the Final Round, the top 3 winners of each category will be invited to perform at the Winners’ Concert. The MIA scholarship awards will also be announced during the Prize Giving Ceremony on the night of July 20, 2024, at the same venue.
Congratulations again to all participants for your outstanding efforts and achievements! We look forward to an exciting final round and celebrating the talents of our young musicians.

Greetings from Illustration and Visual Communication departments!

On behalf of Illustration and Visual Communication Departments, we would like to cordially invite you and your department’s staff and students to the Official Opening of Illustration and Visual Communication Diploma Show 2024 to be held on Saturday, 18 May 2024 at 3:00pm at Level 3A of GMBB KL.

This combined exhibition titled “WE’RE..MIA“, is a celebration of creativity, innovation, and the boundless youthful spirit. This exhibition is a joint effort and celebration of the collective works of 27 recent graduates from two distinct departments. This combined exhibition is the testament of the power of collaborations and the beauty of diversity.

The exhibition will be continued until 26 May 2024 and there will be a series of activities and workshops to be held on 19, 25 & 26 May 2024.

We hope you can join us for this special occasion and disseminate this exhibition to your department’s staff and students .
